I would like to suggest that there be at least 2 new storm drains added to Eaton Rd ( 1 in the middle toward Great Plain) and another at the northern end of Eaton Rd.
The lower drains on Eaton (southern end connected to Harris should go into the middle of Harris and act like a aquifer rather than flow the wrong way up Harris which is the flooding problem for that area.
Mike and town engineer are aware of this issue and still waiting for a solution (hopefully before town meeting in May.

In response to your See Click Fix (SCF)
DPW Water, Sewer, and Drain Division is aware of the Harris at Eaton drainage concerns from our previous meetings/correspondence. We have this item on a future repair/replacement list. Unfortunately I do not have a definitive schedule. Our (single) DPW excavation crew has been extremely busy performing emergency repairs and maintenance throughout our entire (Water, Sewer and Drain) system on a daily basis. All work is triaged according to system failure /public safety / water main breaks/ sewer breaks/ drainage breaks, etc. With only one single excavation crew our list is extremely long. Please be assured this item is on our list and work will be scheduled as soon as time allows. The town plans to develop a town-wide storm drain master plan to address all drainage / flooding concerns during 2024 based on a favorable vote at the upcoming annual town meeting.
Thank you
