Description
The resident at 11 Falcon St. is making multiple attempts to block access to a town-owned trail that runs next to their land. They have:
- tied a tree brach across the trail
- piled yard waste on the trail
- run water onto the grass that leads to the trail to attempt to flood it
- recently started adding large rocks in front of the trail access
Town mapping web site clearly shows that their property does not include the trail access. Perhaps the town should install a fence to delineate where the public land ends? Or at least remove the obstacles and instruct the homeowner to stop creating obstacles.

There is a path marked on the town app - https://www.mapsonline.net/needhamma/index.html#x=-7928503.752753,5204344.156311,-7928028.111401,5204578.24471 if you turn on the 'misc rights of way' layer -- but I'm not sure what that means in real life. I know I used to walk that way to school, 30+ years ago!
Regardless of the status of the path, though, the homeowner shouldn't be making changes to the town land, correct?
